Past sound designs include Measure for Measure at A Noise Within, Amy's View at International City Theater, Burn This at the Odyssey Theater, Appearances at the Mark Taper Forum, Anatol at the Powerhouse Theater, The House of Blue Leaves at West Coast Ensemble, The Memorandum at the Odyssey Theater (for which he won a Garland Award in 1999), Kitty Hawk at the Court Theater, Crimes of the Heart (directed by Garry Marshall) at the Falcon Theater, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead at Occidental College, and Burning Desire (starring Lou Diamond Phillips and Noah Wyle) at the Coronet Theater.

Steve has also produced hundreds of CD projects at his Punch Sound Recording Studio in Santa Monica. He performs music and standup comedy in L.A. and around the country, and is a regular at the Improv and the Laugh Factory. Steve's comedy songs are heard regularly on morning radio nationwide, and on the Dr. Demento radio program. His band, "Steve Goodie and the Falling Standards," recently headlined the B.O.R.E.D. Tour Comedy/Music Festival here in Los Angeles, and is a member of the band, "The Nudniks."
