John Fisher is an award-winning
sound designer, who has designed numerous shows for The Colony, including
productions of The Matchmaker,
Our Country's Good,
for which he received a Theatre LA Ovation Award nomination, and Putting
It Together. Other Colony designs are City
of Angels, Incident At Vichy,
To
Culebra, When the Bough
Breaks, Bedroom Farce,
Holy
Ghosts, and Execution
of Justice. His design for Execution was recognized by a
Drama-Logue Award, one of seven he has received.
He has designed sound for
the Commonwealth State in Amherst, Massachusetts, and for Westside Repertory,
the Broadway Playhouse, Alternative Repertory Theatre, and the Grove Shakespeare
Festival in the Los Angeles area. John teaches Sound Design and is Production
Manager for the Department of Theatre and Dance at California State University,
Fullerton.
