THE COLONY THEATRE COMPANY, CELBRATING ITS 30th ANNIVERSARY YEAR

ANNOUNCES THE SECOND PRODUCTION OF THEIR 2005-2006 SEASON…

INDOOR/OUTDOOR

Written by Kenny Finkle
Directed by Stefan Novinski

The PURR-fection begins Saturday, August 20th at 8:00pm at the Colony Theatre in Burbank!

A wonderful romantic comedy for anyone who’s ever been in a relationship… human or otherwise!

July 20, 2005…Burbank, CA…The Colony Theatre Company presents the second production of its celebratory 30th anniversary year with the hit romantic comedy, INDOOR/OUTDOOR, written by Kenny Finkle and directed by Stefan Novinski (Around the World in 80 Days).

INDOOR/OUTDOOR will preview Wednesday, August 17; Thursday, August 18 and Friday, August 19 and will open on Saturday, August 20 and continue through Sunday, September 18 at the Colony Theatre, 555 North Third Street (at Cypress) adjacent to the Burbank Town Center.

The second production of our 30th season will be the West Coast Premiere of a play that has the regional theatre world purring in delight! INDOOR/OUTDOOR is the tale of an overly pampered housecat, Samantha, who is falling madly in love with handsome outdoor wildcat Oscar - and only a thin pane of glass keeps them apart. Will Samantha’s lonely-guy owner ever understand? Is the visiting cat therapist flying on catnip? Will love conquer all? This funny, romantic tale of two cats separated by fate feels so human, even dog lovers will be drawn into the joys, laughs and heartaches as well as the grand themes of hope and inspiration.

Comments Colony Artistic Director Barbara Beckley: “It is wonderful to bring our subscribers and audiences the West Coast Premiere of this regional theatre hit. It’s a delightful romantic comedy that addresses love and relationships from a decidedly different point of view, which makes it all the more human. This is going to be great fun and we are overjoyed to have Stefan Novinski back directing a perfect cast and magical design team for what promises to be an absolutely delightful confection.”
