Trent Steelman
He holds Bachelor degrees in Theatre, English, Psychology, and Cultural Arts, and has studied acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts West. Additionally, Trent has acted in myriad roles ranging from Bruce in The Normal Heart to Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls, and directed numerous productions including Last Summer at Bluefish Cove, A Hatful of Rain, and the canon of Tennessee Williams’ works. He has taught all levels of acting, directing and scene study and was part of the curriculum development team for art in public schools in Denver. More recently, to achieve balance with right brain functions, Trent has taken courses in human resources, business planning, and fiscal management. During his varied career, he also worked for a real estate development company revitalizing historic landmark buildings, public relations for local Democratic candidates, CEO of The Basket Baron, and was the featured cabaret singer weekly at Garbo’s in Denver. Additionally, he has also been active in the community, participating in local grant panels and serving on the Board of Directors for the Little Tokyo Community Council, the Little Tokyo BID, and Highways Performance Space.
