Toni Sawyer


Toni SawyerToni Sawyer, a Massachusetts native, has appeared at The Colony in The Man Who Came to Dinner, Other People's Money, An Ideal Husband, Suddenly Last Summer, Morning's at Seven, Kathy Goode, To Grandmother's House We Go, Could I Have This Dance? (Drama-Logue Award), and The Martian Chronicles. 

Regional credits include the American Conservatory Theatre, Chicago's Mill Run Playhouse, International City Theatre, Lawrence Welk Theatre and the La Mirada Theatre For The Performing Arts, where she played Clelia Waldgrave in The Nerd, a role she re-created for the NBC pilot directed by James Burrows. She toured in Tom Sawyer and appeared Off Off Broadway in Could I Have This Dance?

Other local credits include the Los Angeles Actors' Theatre, Ensemble Studio Theatre  and the Furious Theatre Company at the Pasadena Playhouse Balcony Theatre.

Feature films include The Thirteenth Floor, Peter Bogdanovich’s Mask, Sweet Dreams, 18 Again! with George Burns, and High Strung, an early off-beat comedy with Jim Carrey. She played Nicole Kidman’s mother in My Life, and appears in the independent film The Sky is Falling. She has been seen in many TV guest-starring roles, movies-of-the-week, and mini-series, including North & South II and Doing Time on Maple Drive.

Then "Mary's Wedding Hot new playwright Stephen Massicotte spins a breathtaking saga about young lovers who must surrender their fate to the uncertainties of their tumultuous times. Then, Candida George Bernard Shaw's story of a love triangle -- and a woman's choice between two men who love her.. Finally, the Los Angeles Premiere of a hilarious, sexy musical No Way to Treat a Lady.
