Jeremy Pivnick


Jeremy Pivnic created the Lighting Design for the Colony's productions of Visiting Mr. Green,, 2 Pianos 4 Hands, No Way to Treat a Lady, Mary's Wedding, The Voice of the Prairie, Almost, Maine, The Thousandth Night, Stage Struck, Billy Bishop Goes to War, The Glass Menagerie, Sherlock's Last Case, Around the World in 80 Days,  Toys in the Attic (2003 Maddy Award) directed by Jessica Kubzansky, Clutter, The True Story of the Collyer Brothers Who Never Threw Anything Out (2004 Ovation Nomination), and The Ladies of the Camellias.   

He designed Off-Broadway's The Marvelous Wonderettes (Westside Theatre), and his New York credits include Corpus Christi (Rattlestick Theatre) and Moscow (Connelly Theatre). 

Regionally, he designed The Marvelous Wonderettes (Laguna Playhouse), Tranced (Laguna Playhouse), Tales of a 4th Grade Nothing (South Coast Rep), and Doubt (Pasadena Playhouse), and international credits include Corpus Christi (Bedlam Theatre, Edinburgh and Smock Alley Theatre, Dublin). 

In Los Angeles, he has designed over 200 productions with The Colony Theatre, Theatre @ Boston Court, Rubicon Theatre Company, Falcon Theatre, International City Theatre, Echo Theatre Company, Playwright's Arena, Robey Theatre Company, and many other companies. Awards include 2 LA Stage Alliance Ovation Awards (16 nominations), 4 Backstage West Garland Awards, and the LA Drama Critics? Circle Angstrom Award for Career Achievement.
