SOHAIL e. NAJAFI (Lighting Designer, Falling for Make Believe) is thrilled to design at The Colony, one of Los Angeles’s most distinguished theaters. He is thankful to director Jim Fall for the invitation to work on this truly sensational new piece of theater and cannot wait to share it with you.

Selected lighting design credits include Dariush: Los Angeles 2013 sold out at the Gibson Amphitheater at Universal CityWalk, Timeless: The Composer/Arranger Concert Series at The Luckman Theater, Trog and Clay at the 2011 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Rebel presented by James Franco and The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, Dream produced by New York Stage Originals and touring this fall in China, and The War Cycle: Gospel According to First Squad, which received Production of the Year nominations from both the LA Stage Alliance Ovation Awards and the LA Weekly Theater Awards.

Sohail currently serves as design faculty for the Academy of Visual and Performing Arts in Culver City.

He studied stage design and directing at the UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television.
