Cricket S. Myers 


Cricket S. Myers was Sound Designer on Colony productions of The Voice of the Prairie, "Master Harold" ...and the boys (NAACP Theatre Award nomination), Trying (Ovation nomination), Stage Struck, I Have Before Me a Remarkable Document Given to Me by a Young Lady From Rwanda and Clutter. She was co-sound designer on Educating Rita.

Other designs include: The Marvelous Wonderettes (Westside Theater, NYC), Some Girl(s) and Emergency (Geffen Playhouse); Orson’s Shadow (Pasadena Playhouse); Nightingale (Mark Taper Forum); Come Back Little Sheba at the Kirk Douglas Theater; Nightingale at the Mark Taper Forum; Marvelous Wonderettes at the El Portal; Impending Rupture of the Belly and Back of the Throat with Furious Theater Company; Mommy Mommy the Musical Musical at the Hudson Backstage; Iphigenia (A Rave Fable) (LA Weekly Nomination) and King Cat Calico Finally Flies Free with Son of Semele; Zanna Don't and Floyd Collins (LA Drama Critics Award at West Coast Ensemble.

Cricket is also the resident Sound Designer at Celebration Theater. Cricket won the 2003 USITT Clear Com Award for achievement in Sound Design, and was a finalist for the TCG/NEA Career Development Grant and was named a Young Designer to Watch by Live Design Magazine, April 2007 and an "Artist to Watch" by LA Stage Magazine in September, 2007.

Then "Mary's Wedding Hot new playwright Stephen Massicotte spins a breathtaking saga about young lovers who must surrender their fate to the uncertainties of their tumultuous times. Then, Candida George Bernard Shaw's story of a love triangle -- and a woman's choice between two men who love her.. Finally, the Los Angeles Premiere of a hilarious, sexy musical No Way to Treat a Lady.
