Samuel B. Kivi first appeared
at the Colony as Rohna (and Ensemble) in Grand
Hotel, the Musical.. LA audiences may recognize Sam from his most
recent appearance as Miss Industrial Northeast, Consuela Manuela Rafaella
Lopez in the musical Pageant.
Sam received a BA in Vocal
Music and Theatre/Dance after attending Luther College in Decorah, IA.
Minnesota born and raised, Sam moved to Los Angeles from Minneapolis where,
for several years, he played Joey Vitale in the National phenomenon Tony
N’ Tina’s Wedding. In addition to performing as the Bearded Lady in
Bill Russell and Henry Krieger’s Side Show, Sam has also appeared
as Bernardo in West Side Story, The Pharaoh in Joseph and the
Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Sparky in Forever Plaid. Other
favorites include Songs For a New World, The Rink, Good News, and
2 National Tours of Babes in Toyland.
