Darin
Anthony has appeared in
The
Shadow of a Gunman (Tommy Owens), The
Matchmaker (Barnaby Tucker) Eastern
Standard (Stephen Wheeler) and Incorruptible
at the Colony Theater.
Other credits include Cyrano de Beregerac, The Taming of the Shrew, Cymbeline, and Life is a Dream all at A Noise Within, Chapters on American Artistry with Monster Island Productions, Macbeth (Malcolm) and Merchant of Venice (Bassanio) with the Sirius Theater Company, Twelfth Night (Sebastian) with Dramatists Personae. Darin also understudied for Delia's Song at the Eclectic Theater. Chicago credits include Hamlet (Fortinbraus) and Women and Water (Roger Pape) with The Defiant Theater Company, Still (Michael) at the Prop the Theater and in The Wedding Album at the Hudson Avenue Theatre. Darin is also the Co-Artistic Director of The Double Helix Theatre. They launched their inaugral production of Julius Caesar, in the summer of 2001, in which Darin was seen as Cassius. Darin has appeared in two short films "The weak End" and " Going to the Chapel" Darin received his BFA from the Theater School at De Paul University, formerly the Goodman School of Drama. His continuing training has come in the form of the "Style" Workshop at the Actors Gang and on-going Shakespeare study at A Noise Within. Darin's life outside the
theare includes marthon running to raise money for AIDS Project Los
Angeles (donations are welcomed),.inspired by his wife, who helped to open
him up to the world of service.
