was born in England. After her first mystery was published in 1922, she
wrote over 60 books, most appearing on bestseller lists. She wrote many
successful plays including Witness for the Prosecution, Ten Little
Indians, and Appointment With Death The
Mousetrap opened on November 25, 1952 at the Ambassador Theatre
in London and it is still playing today, after more than forty years!
